Thanks for visiting this site!
The bass connection comes from the fact that nothing can survive without solid foundations and also the fact that I play bass guitar ;-) Based in North West England this site is also the home of Deepbass Productions. The sound? Well its techno/electro heavvvvy and rhythmical with the odd wild guitar thrown in, usually where its least appropriate. Theres a section here with some mp3 versions of The Land of Deepbass audio.

As I play bass live in a band theres naturally a fair bit about them here too. We're called Gear and we're currently gigging round the North West circuit, mainly pubs and such. Our last album was live and digitally remastered to CD by Deepbass Productions. Our sound is strictly rock (Nirvana/Hendrix/Oasis covers) with a healthy mixture of some brilliant original material written by Mark Walmsley. Gear have their own website and a turbulent past)

Fruitcakes is the name loosely given to the friends of The Land of Deepbass who are always in constant communication. A few of them sometimes undertake hazardous missions abroad. Documentary evidence of these trips may well exist somewhere on this site...

Update ... I've joined Numnuts!
